South Wall

This large walnut buffet was original to the 1852 construction of the house and originally likely served in the scullery where food would be brought from the kitchen building. It was removed from the house in 1916 and has been in the care of the Bartlett family. It was acquired by the 1852 Foundation in 2017, our great thanks to the Bartlett family.

These framed silver serving spoons on the west wall were likely a wedding present to Louise Fowler and each have her name as well as the F monogram.
